Basel-Landschaft - Liestal

Spalentor is a medieval wall that was constructed in the 14 th century, the other walls were demolished but Spalentor remains. It is adorned with magnificent glass and has figures from the 15 th century. Some of it original features are on display at the museum of history.

Roman town of Augusta

The roman town takes you back to the historical days; it has retained most of its original features. Most of the sights in the town are free of charge, it has a theater at the center which goes back to 200 AD, and although it has been altered now and then it still has an old feel to it.
