This is the largest religious building in Bern and also in Switzerland. The cathedral’s construction begun in 1421, the architects took there time, and came up with a fascinating building.
The building has a mixture of both gothic and traditional styles, it was completed in 1893. If you want to have a view of the beautiful city of Bern, then go up the 344 steps to 100 meter – high spire, from there you will be able to view the snow capped peaks of the Bernese Oberland.
