Einstein house

Bern boasts of having Albert Einstein house in the city, the house attracts many visitors. In 1977 the Albert Einstein Society was able to rent Einstein’s former flat on the second floor of Kramgasse 49.

They have managed to restore the original furnishings, the public is welcome to visit and pay tribute to the great scientist.When you enter the house, you can feel his presence.Pictures of Einstein and his family are on display, the furniture is in good order.

The entrance to the house has also been renovated, the staircase has been left to its original state, if you gaze at the staircase you can imagine how Einstein used to walk up and down. With the help of modern exhibition system you can see his work more clearly.
