Town Hall

The town hall has a long history, it was built from 1406 – 1416, it also acts as the seat of the cantonal government, where the Bernese cantonal council meets five times a years, the sessions are not open to public. The town has survived many wars, they include, Burgundian wars, reformation and the revolution wars.
